Happy (5mo) Birthday Keaton!!

I cannot believe our little man is 5 months old today!! Where has the time gone?! We decided to "celebrate" his birthday by adding some veggies to his diet tonight. Apparently he's not a fan of carrots!! I'll attempt to add a video so you can see what I mean. Below are some photos of Keaton after bathtime in his new alligator towel.

Almost 5 months old...and looking more like Daddy everyday!

I can't believe our baby boy is almost 5 months old! I decided to update the blog recent photos of him for my sister who is in Australia. I know you don't want to miss a beat, Nelly, so I'll do my best to keep you updated!

He thinks he's pretty big stuff in his highchair!! I love it :)

Keaton's First 4th

We decided to take Keaton on one of his first family outings for the Fourth of July in Wamego. We got out of the car, unpacked the stroller and diaper bag, then proceeded to walk around to find the perfect spot to watch the parade. What do you know...my shoe broke! An adorable pair of wedges that I had only worn twice. So, after walking back to the car barefoot, we turned around and went back to Manhattan to grab a new pair of shoes before returning to see the fire works display. Luckily we made it back just in time to unpack once again, explore the "fair grounds", then find what we thought was the perfect spot to watch the fireworks. Turns out, they decided to move the fireworks display to Highway 24 this year...so we walked to the car yet again to drive to another location. Fortunately for us, Keaton was an angel and didn't seem to mind being loaded and unloaded into the car. Finally, we found a spot to park and watch the AMAZING show. Despite our few mishaps, we had a great day! I would definitely recommend heading out to Wamego next year. They put on an awesome show!
